This morning I came down to Jochiwon with the other teachers for the Seong-dong/Kang-dong district summer camp.  It’s nice to be out of the city for a while. It’s deafeningly quiet out here.

Today was spent in a succession of organizational meetings.  The kids arrive at noon tomorrow.  Actually, I’m looking forward to it. Once we’ve met each other a lot of the “fear of the unknown” questions will have been answered.
